???? – Millions of years ago the super-continent Pangaea broke apart and South America dismembered from Africa. While the two continents was separating from each other the volcanic activity produced an immense sierra on the Brazilian side. As millions of year past on the corrosion by the elements of climate created the Brazilian board, diminishing the size of the mountains and creating a sedimentary border along. As the torrential equatorial rains corroded the mountains pockets of gold formed at the pools in the streams and rivers of Minas Gerais State.

It also created sculptures in the mountains. But is there an completely unusual one at the today’s City of Santa Barbara. The top of one of its mountain have a man in decubitus dorsal. It means that the man is looking the stars. You can see it miles and miles away but to see his face you need to be there. Some time ago NASA published a photo appearing to show a face on Mars. Everybody became excited as it was proof that the planet was only inhabit by intelligent life. It should be the same in the case of Minas Gerais because if the “Karassa” was made by nature it came before men came to the planet Earth. So we can interpret it in two ways:

1. The mountain was there and ancient culture gave some help to nature using a natural mountain and finishing it as a human body. If it was done we can say that, some culture was trying to communicate with its god so did it to say, Look after me please.

2. The mountain is a freak of nature. But is so real that we can interpret like, some creator established a blue print about what he was doing before it came to be. Along the same complex of Mountain, hundreds of miles away of “Karassa”, but along the border between Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais, in the way from one to another rests another mountain called “Finger of God”. ( https://www.facebook.com/dedodedeusteresopolis/). It appear to say that, Go to Heaven or Look up the sky. It could be the same creator sending the same message.

???? – Another millions years ago. In South Brazil one site is formed with many sculptures. It is called Vila Velha. (Old Village). (http://colecoes.mercadolivre.com.br/foto-postal-paran%C3%A1-pedras-ciclopicas-vila-velha-anos-40). What is interesting here is that, all the sculptures are attributed to the actions of nature. But what would be the probability of it be happen? Earth have billions of structures but none is the same. So you have at least three sculptures there that represents the Brazilian History. You have a chalice, a camel and a front of a water ship. The chalice can represent the Grail, the camel is from the biblical traditions and the ship is how European people went there. The main religion is Christianity. Is statistically impossible that no one have give some help to nature to those “natural formations” come about.

???? – Around 50.000 years ago people was making organized fire. It was a regular and accepted knowledge for such time around most of the world. The only problem about these specific one is that, It is in Brazil. ( http://www.theguardian.com/science/2000/feb/11/archaeology.internationalnews ). The mainstream archaeologists from United States don’t swallow the idea. Is to difficult for them to admit that probably men didn’t came first to America through the Behring Strait. Although the western tip point of Africa is pointing to the eastern tip point at the Brazilian territory. Is really not easy to accept that 50.000 years ago men took the courage to pick some simple wood and went through the Atlantic Ocean all the way.

But maybe its true even by foot. At the time the Ice Age was taking the hardest to human kind except for the time it started 25.000 years before. In that time an volcanic explosion put so much trash on the atmosphere that blocked part of sun light resulting in a global cooling and it extended until the Ice Age ended. Maybe in some of those thousands of years mankind witnessed at least a 2/3 Snow Ball Earth that was not detected yet by sciences because be only for a brief time. It would occur if another volcano or something else were able to put more trash into the atmosphere, which at the time was probably clean.

But if men went from Africa to Brazil by boat, at that time, they had at least two things in favor of it, the Ocean level was down so the distance was a little less and the Ocean Giro was favorable. The North Americans should know better about the detail about the minor distance between Africa and Americas at Brazilian Coast because it were largely used at the II WW. During the war the Air Force used a airbase from the Rio Grande do Norte State to raid the Germanic forces on North Africa. It also was used as trampoline to send troops and equipment essential to win that war.

???? – About 11.000 years ago human culture was again in Brazil. These time nobody can deny it because the fossilized skeletons was there. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luzia_Woman ). The only problem is that it was in Minas Gerais, far away from the Ocean. Most probably the people were remnant from the ones that came around Pedra Furada. It could be so because that site is not far away from the Sao Francisco River basin. And from it was an open highway linking the old and the new sites. The Velhas River, one tributary of the Francisco is born around the second site.

Brazil is a Archaeologic site altogether without been cautiously looked at. Most of the country have acid terrain so it make difficult to remains fossilizes. But have some pockets of limestone with give better conditions to remains survive forever. Particularly it is possible in Minas Gerais State that have all minerals, even lime.

The only problem is that, these mineral is find only in Minas Gerais State. Even since the II World War it is imported from there to make advanced electronics tools. How it got in the Pyramids is a mystery and it only add to our ignorance about our own past.

971BCE – The Bible states that Salomon start his government in Israel. He commission Hiram, king of Tyre, to navigate to an unknown country named Ophir from where he would bring back big amount of gold and silver. 29 centuries later around about Brazil there are many inscriptions in rocks and it is identified as Phoenician. It may not be the proof that Brazil and Ophir are the same place. Maybe Ophir could refer to Guinea or some place around. As the Bible narrates, the fleet of Hiram used to navigate from the Red Sea. So to go to Brazil it probably made a tour around Africa. Because of the storm and the Ocean Giro some ships could be deviated to Brazil. The point is that, at the time of slavery those from Guinea was desired for they experience as mines workers.

If the presence of Phoenician in Brazil can be proven truthful then the information can be used by Scott Wolter to solve the question who was the ones that went to the Great Lakes to mine copper and bring it to Europe at the Bronze Era. At that exact time the Phoenician were at the same time experienced marines and merchants. It almost put an end on the question.

940 – Ramiro II, king of Leon in a peace treaty with Muslims leaders marriages his son, Lovesendo Ramires, to the princess Zayra Ibn Zayda. She is a descendant of prophet Mohammad and they also will be ancestors of all nobility and people from Iberian Peninsula.

1000 – The County of Ribadouro is given to the lords of Ribadouro.

1080 – Egas Moniz, o Aio, is born from the Ribadouro family.

1095 – The first Crusade called by pope Urban II to liberates Jerusalem is called. The truth is that, the Iberian Christian was long ago trying to expel the invaders since 711. 1109 – His pupil, Afonso Henriques is born. Afonso Henriques will be the first king of Portugal. (+ 1185)

1119 – The Knights Templar starts after coming back from the First Crusade. 1250 – Afonso III, great-grandson of Afonso Henriques, reconquest the last Portuguese territory from the Moors. He had sons with a Jewish of origin woman named Madragana (Mor Afonso) and their are ancestors of most people from the Occident. Brazilians and even the Queen Elizabeth of England. 75% of the American presidents are descendants from them and it start with George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. The Clintons and Bushs also are. President Obama is a distant relative by been descedant of Charlemagne.

1307 – Dissolution of the Knights Templar by intervention of the king Philip IV of France.

1317 – The Portuguese king, Dinis I, give permission to the persecuted Templar to keep their job under a new order which one is called Order of the Knights of Our Lord Jesus Christ. First it was the Templar of Tomar. It also had its headquarter in Leca City. Which later on was transferred to Crato City, since them was guided by its Grand-Prior called Prior of Crato.

1380 – Birth of Fernao Coelho, first lord of Felgueiras and Vieira. He probably is ancestor of the Vieira brothers. Fernao Coelho was married to Catarina de Freitas, who had an extended ancestry in the royal and noble families.

The Portuguese Monarchy came to a dead end when the heir of the throne was the of daughter of the king and spouse of the king of Spain. The Spanish tried to subdue the Portuguese but were a revolt lead by D. Joao, Master of Avis, who was son of the king with a noble woman but not the queen. He is helped by the chevalier D. Nuno Alvares Pereira, nowadays Saint Nuno of Santa Maria. Portuguese people the war and kept the Independence. D. Joao I became the first king of the second dynasty, Avis. The out of the marriage son of D. Joao I marriages the daughter (Beatriz Alvim Pereira) of D. Nuno and they begun the title of Duke of Braganca. Saint Nuno of Santa Maria was son-in-law of Dona Branca Esteves Coelho. D. 1383 – 1385 – At the time is celebrated the Alliance between Portugal and England that endures until today. These Alliance is for friendship and reciprocal defense.

1394 – Birth of D. Henrique, the Navigator. Since his infancy he was interested on navigation and dedicated his life to do research on the subject. In 1420 he became Grand-Master of the Order of Christ and in the same year his followers establish themselves at the Madeira Archipelago. Later the Islands are divided in lots that are inherit by birth (Inherit Captaincy). It is the model that later on will be used in Brazil. In 1427 his subjects also discover the Acores Islands. D. Henrique who became king and Portuguese king inaugurated what is called by the name of Great Discoveries. Those islands were long ago known by Portuguese navigators but was not yet colonized. At Acores are signs that the islands are visited by peoples from Mediterranean long before Rome. D. Henrique donated the Islands of Santa Maria and Sao Miguel to the Order of Christ. Joao Coelho and Luis Afonso Coelho were among the first to living in the the Island Terceira. These island were donated to Jacome de Bruges, a nobleman from Holland. The king D. Henrique was married to Philippa of Lancaster. Her relatives went Portugal to and had their surname translated to Lencastre, which one still have descendants.

1420 – Beginning of the colonization of the Madeira Archipelago. The Portuguese sources denote that the people already new where the islands were at least since the prior century. 1420 is in reality the time that they start to prioritize the colonization. And would be some kind of simpleton to believe that the navigators didn’t think to go beyond until 1492 when Christopher Columbus was at the service of the kings of Spain. The idea was to go to the India(s), what include India itself, China and others because they wanted to make trade with everybody without middleman.

1427 – Starting of the colonization of the Acores Archipelago. From there on the Portuguese navigators continue to navigate thinking they could find India through navigating westward. They did went to Americas but kept it secret until Columbus (http://colombo.do.sapo.pt/indexPTColomboEsp04.html).

1478 – The Spanish kings Ferdinand of Aragon and Isabella of Castilla reinstitute the Inquisition with the blessing of the pope. It is directed against all non Catholics such as Jews and Muslims under their rule. Portugal is more tolerant and good part of Jews move to there. The option the persecuted had was convert or go away, otherwise death.

1488 – The Portuguese navigator, Bartolomeu Dias, goes around the Cape of Torments. After that it is called Cape of Good Hope.

1479 – Christopher Columbus marriages dona Filipa Moniz Perestrello, in Portugal. She is one out of 12 “Donas” of the Monastery Santos-o-Velho. She was the maternal granddaughter of Gil Aires, the scribe of Purity of D. Nuno Alvares Pereira, today Saint Nuno of Santa Maria. Her father was Bartholomew Perestrello, who was also knight and first lord of the Island Porto Santo. The Island of Porto Santo is part of the Archipelago of Madeira. These one was discovered by Tristao Vaz Teixeira, Joao Goncalves Zarco and Bartholomew Perestrello himself, under the administration of D. Henry, the Navigator.

The Treaty were done 6 years before the Portuguese decided to take posse of their belongs, which came to be Brazil.

1497 – The Portuguese navigator, Vasco da Gama captains an expedition that passe away the Cape of Good Hope and went to India. It puts Portugal in an advantage point because now it can do business direct with the extreme East without the intermediaries Arabs and Italians.

1497 – By contract of marriage D. Manuel, the Fortunate, of Portugal is obligated by his parents in-law, Ferdinand and Isabella, to expel or convert Jews from the borders of the country. He decided to deceive the Jews unto be baptized by force. Even been converted they kept some of their religious practices with was called crypto Judaism. Some went to Holland and places around where they was free to practice their ancestral religion. 1500 – Pedro Alvares Cabral is the captain that sets food in Brazil as head of the navy. Pero Vaz de Caminha is the one that scribes a letter with a prophecy: “The loam is so fertile that anything you plant will harvest.” Nicolau Coelho is the pilot that went back to Portugal as the messenger of good news. Next year he died in an expedition to India.

1500 – And beyond. Since the beginning is there in Brazil the Legend of the Mula-sem-cabeca. (Headless Mule – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Headless_Mule ). It describes a mule without head that spill fire from its neck. It also is supposed to have horse shoos made out of iron or silver. The legend as it is known today give the impression that it was some way for the Catholic Church catechize the simple people.

But have more into it because the it make more sense if the native people have been have encounters with machines like four legged robots with a source of propulsion. The religious deviation later added make no sense in Brazil. Usually it is attributed to a transformation of a beautiful woman who had seduced a priest in a firing mule. In 1638 the Field Marshal Luiz Barbalho Bezerra defended the land against the Dutch invasion. He stood there long enough to leave his daughter Cosma Barbalho who married Francisco Negreiros de Sueiro. The couple begot Luiz Barbalho de Negreiros who marriaged to D. Luiza Corte-Real, daughter of Joao Alvares de Franca and D. Catharina Corte-Real.

1520 – Fernao de Magalhaes (Magellan) discovers the way to the Eastern lands through the South Cone of South America. Since then human kind start to circumnavigate Earth.

1522 – D. Friar Goncalo Pimenta Teles de Avelar is the last elected Prior of Crato (Crato is a city that became the headquarter for the Order of Christ after Tomar). The heir of the Knights Templar, Order of Christ, became so rich that it rivalizes even the kingship. Afraid of so much power the king Joao III offers a price for D. Goncalo renounces in favor of his brother. The situation became alike the one that the Knights Templar were in France at the time of king Philip, the Fair. D. Goncalo refuses alleging that he wouldn’t do it for any treasure in Earth because it came to him by religious means. Later on he renounces and give it up for nothing. Although he kept the title until his death in 1527. These is probably the window used to transfer the riches of the Order to the New World without the knowledge or with the consent of the king. One of the noble families in Portugal have the surname of Carvalho. It means Oak in English. It can be some evidence that OAK ISLAND was the first address to the Knights Templar treasures. And it could prove the carvings at the OVERTON STONE have Portuguese origins.

1532 – Portugal divided Brazil in Captaincies. The general governor Martim Afonso de Sousa (descendant of D. Afonso III and Madragana) founded the first city in the country, Sao Vicente. It pass to be the name of the Captaincy owned by himself. Today it would be localized at the States of Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais. Martim Afonso became ancestor of most Brazilians of today that can trace their ancestors to the first colons in Brazil.

1535 – The Captaincy of Pernambuco is implanted by its first owner, Duarte Coelho. It starts producing sugar from sugarcane plantation. Sugar was a product so expensive that the owner of sugar mills was granted the title of lords of sugar mills. Pernambuco is the only one Captaincy that is a real deal for the Portuguese Crown. The Sao Vicente Captaincy was unable to produce a better sugar because its climate conditions. It starts to trade on slavery of Brazilian natives and commercial port because of its strategic location between the roots East-West.

Portugal became a superpower of that time, among Spain, implanting colonies in Americas (Brazil), Africa (Cape Verde, Angola and Mozambique), India (State of Goa), Indonesia (Timor East), China (Macau) and even Japan.

1545 – The first capital of Brazil, Sao Salvador City, is founded by Tome de Sousa.

1550 – Around these time the Portuguese people had established many outposts on the Brazilian Coast. And more they had contact with the natives they heard stories about riches in the interior of the continent. One of the accounts talk about a mountain rich with emeralds. In native tongue it was called Sabarabussu. Despite of the many attempt to find anything alike the Brazilian interior didn’t reveal its secrets to nobody. Until around 1700 the population stood around the Atlantic borders where the European people had established plantations of sugarcane and cattle ranches. The population even was called crab fish. It because use to settle only next to the beaches.

The first exploration of the Sao Francisco River above the fall named Paulo Afonso were done by Joao Coelho de Souza. Is recorded that he already found precious minerals and even diamonds at the higher springs of that river. His brother, Gabriel Soares de Souza enherit some of his finds. It became the natural way of communication between around 12 states for centuries in terms of interior. Most of its course is paralel to the Atlantic Ocean but 500 miles inland. It became known as National Integration River.

1575 – The French had found a colony around the Bay of Guanabara invading the Portuguese possession. Estacio de Sa, nephew of the then General Governor of Brazil, Mem de Sa, is sent to expel the invaders and founded Rio de Janeiro, which later on will be the co-capital of Brazil before became the solely capital for almost two centuries.

1580 – History repeat itself. The daughter of the king of Portugal was the wife of Philip II of Spain. Portugal didn’t had a male heir to the throne. And Philip II promote the Iberian Union where both crowns became united although Portuguese kept some freedom to administrate the Empire.

1581 – The Dutch separated themselves from Spain. The period is known as 80 Years War (1568 – 1648). The Netherlands was a group of seven countries around its territory of today. They were under the pressure of the tyrant Spain which wanted to impose Catholic faith, political and economic restrain. The Dutch founded the West India Company, which had the participation of capital all over Europe. Good part of contributors were Jews which ones had been expel from Spain and Portugal.

1584 – Luis Barbalho Bezerra is born at Pernambuco. He was grandson of Braz Barbalho Feyo, one of the colons that went Brazil with Duarte Coelho. He was Commander of the Order of Christ and his six sons were also Knights of the same order. He also was promoted to the position of Field Marshal, Provisory governor of Brazil and Governor of Rio de Janeiro. The sons were, Guilherme, the older one, who was elevated to the post of colonel and became the indicated Mayor of Sao Christovao, the first capital of the Sergipe State; Fernao, who was captain of the Fort of Sao Marcelo, or Our Lady of Populo, which one is localized inside the Todos os Santos (All the Saints) Bay, Salvador, and the king indicated him to be his Treasury Secretary at the State of Goa, in India; Francisco Monteiro, who got the position of his brother and stood as captain of the fort until 1704; Antonio, who move to Rio de Janeiro and went back, some say that he was the one that inherit by marriage the Morgado of Sao Salvador do Mundo, at Parahyba State; Jeronymo, who farmer and captain, lord of sugar mill in Sao Goncalo do Rio de Janeiro and Agostinho Barbalho Bezerra, the superhero of his time. Luis also had three daughters: Cosma and Antonia who married to the most noble families at the Bahia State and Cecilia, who married an lesser noble at Rio de Janeiro and became known for set the foundation for the first and most famous women’s convent in Rio de Janeiro.

D. Antonia Barbalho Bezerra was married to Antonio Ferreira de Souza who came from families originated in the Archipelago of Madeira. They had a daughter named Ignes Thereza Barbalho Bezerra who married to the colonel Egas Moniz Barreto and their offspring originated many of the nobles at the time of the Brazilian Empire.

1595 – Under rule of Spain the Inquisition goes also to Brazil. Even the crypto Jews are persecuted. It becomes an instrument for subdue everyone under the iron hand of the rulers and Church.

Probably the branches of the Knights Templar wasn’t satisfied with how the History was going on. They couldn’t afford to bow to monarchs such as Philip II from Spain or Elizabeth I of England. So they had to separate their loyalty to the monarchs and their own interests. Free Masonry is born as secretive it could be to protect all that what freedom can mean.

1619 – Agostinho Barbalho Bezerra is born in Pernambuco to his parents, Luis Barbalho and Maria Furtado de Mendonca. He became the superhero of his time. Was married to Beatriz de Lemos, daughter of Joao Alvares Pereira, one of the richest man in his time. Agostinho went to the Army when he was a child to follow his father trying to expel the Dutch. At age of 19 he already owned his insignia of captain for his services on the battles. He fought at sea and it is said that he expelled the pirates from the Brazilian Coast. He also fought against Dutch and Spain at the Archipelago of Acores and the mainland Portugal.

1620 – Two sons of Goncalo Pimenta de Carvalho (surnames Pepper and Oak), Joao and Manuel, are established in Rio de Janeiro. Most certainly Goncalo was descendant of the Prior of Crato, D. Friar Goncalo Pimenta Teles de Avelar, the last one of his kind until the Portuguese Monarchy took over the head of the remnant Templar Knights organization. John Pimenta de Carvalho appear to be the oldest. He became the Captain Mor of the Saint Vincent Captaincy on behalf of the Countess of Vimieiro. She was direct descendant of Martim Afonso de Sousa, the first General Governor of Brazil, whom had founded the Captaincy in 1532. John and Manuel married noblewomen from the Acores Islands and mainland Portugal. They are ancestors for most of the South Brazilian who can trace their genealogy to that time.

The wife of Goncalo Pimenta de Carvalho was Maria Jacome De Mello. The surname Jacome may be from Jacob Van Brugge, who came from Flandres (Holland) and were the first owner of the Terceira Island at Azores, in 1450. Could be also from other origins because the Jacome Family in Portugal haven’t only one beginning.

1630 – Pernambuco is invaded. The Dutch eyed the jewel of the Portuguese crown. It start a long war with many phases. At first the ones that not accept the new rulers are striped of their posses. Luis Barbalho Bazerra is one of the first to loose his sugar mill and enlist with his 6 sons and many relatives to the resistance. He is the one that lead 1.000 men through enemies territory, from Rio Grande do Norte to San Salvador, in Bahia (1638). After these heroic fact he is assigned to defend the Brazilian capital and defeat the Dutch. He become a provisional governor of Brazil. It was a mistake because a messenger had altered a letter from the king. Accused of treason is sent to be tried in Portugal where the verdict was for innocent. After that he was named governor of Rio de Janeiro and was supposed to serve for three years, from 1642 to 1645. But he died at the service in 1645.

1640 – Against all odds Portuguese and Brazilians were at war against the superpowers of the time, Dutch and Spain, and they managed to defeat both reinstating the Portuguese Monarchy in 1640. The Duke of Braganca, became the king D. Joao IV. He inaugurates the Dynasty of Braganca. One of his first act were to send to Brazilians and Portuguese in Brazil a letter asking them to leave the Dutch alone. He thought was more manageable have only one enemy at each time. And those answered him that, they would keep the work and after things done they would go to Portugal to receive the punishment that deserved. It is be a little of insanity to say that somebody would say it to the king if don’t have the confidence on had more power them him. And most of the people fighting that war was knight of the Order of Christ.

1641 – The Dutch founded the City of Recife in opposition to the Portuguese Olinda. The rabbi Issac Aboad da Fonseca founded there the first synagogue in Americas. The name was Kahal Zur Israel.

1654 – A coalition of people of European, African and Native Brazilian defeat the Dutch. Was 24 years of dominance. Only in 1661 the Treaty of the Hague is signed. At the time Brazilians were having bad times in business because bad weather and the Dutch coalition of Protestant and Jewish was persecuting them for their Catholic belief. The war became nasty as it could possible be. The hatred were introduced and the tide turned against the invaders. At the Battles of Guararapes the Dutch were defeated and the occupation ended.

1654 – Some Jewish families which went back to Netherlands had an encounter with piracy and ended at New Amsterdam, today New York. They founded the Congregation Shearith Israel which was the first of its genre in North America. Until 1825 was the only one Jewish congregation in New York. The chief Rabbi in Brasil was Isaac Aboab da Fonseca who returned to Amsterdan. His surname Fonseca suggests that he was descendant of Egas Moniz, o Aio. It because the name was first used by lineage from him.

1657 – After learn the technologies of production of sugar in Brasil the Dutch transported their production to the Caribbean Islands. They also had the monopoly at the European ports. The production went high and the price gone low. So what once was a green mine gold was no more. The Brazilian economy suffered its first depression. Although it was not so genealized because the country had so much land to be explored and so little population that everybody kept going as aways.

1660 – The governor of Rio de Janeiro was Salvador Correia de Sa e Benevides. He was a nephew of Estacio de Sa. At the time of the war against the Dutch many newcomers was installed at the Province. Among them 2 of the sons of governor Luis, Agostinho and Jeronymo. Sa e Benevides was a corrupt servant and treated even his fellow men out of his kinship as mere subject. The others from Pernambuco and Bahia were more sophisticated. Jeronymo lead a revolt which is known as “Revolta da Cachaca”. Cachaca is the alcoholic beverage obtained from the sugarcane and it had an important value to the lords of sugar mills in Rio de Janeiro because of the shipper price of the sugar itself. They used the beverage to trade for slaves in Africa. Without it they would be less competitive. Sa e Benevides forbade the production.

In some context these revolt predates more than 100 years some economic ideals of the America Revolution. It demands equality between the products from the Portuguese Metropolis and the ones produced in the colony.

These Salvador Correia de Sa e Benevides is the one that was provided as administrator of the Mines of Potosi. He was also the one who was first charged to be the Cacador de Esmeraldas (Emeralds Hunter).

Jeronymo and his fellowmen took the administration and sent letters to the king back in Portugal for him decided the dividing. Correia de Sa was in Sao Paulo and organized a counter attack. The revolutionary was not expecting it and he prevail. He summarily executed Jeronymo, dismembered his body and exposed it to the public and sent the others to be judged. The verdict was in favor of the revolutionary but it was too late for Jeronymo. Correia de Sa, a considered hero for others doings had a sentence of life in prison for the crime to kill another hero of the expulsion of the Dutch.

1667 – After been cleared of any wrongdoing and the imprisonment of Carreia de Sa, Agostinho Barbalho who once was able to do anything for the Portuguese Crown, is named Emeralds Hunter. He organizes an expedition through the basin of the Doce River where he contracts an unknown disease and dies. The substitute for him is the great Bandeirante Fernao Dias Paes Leme.

1675 – Is created the first town in the Minas Gerais State. It’s name today is Sabara. It is used for the explorers stay and have a back up for their researching in precious minerals and gems. For long time nothing was found because they was concentrated on look for emeralds. After the finding of gold the precious metal is abundant even at the back door of the town.

1698 – After many frustrated attempts to find the Sierra of Emeralds gold is found at what today is the City of Ouro Preto, meaning Black Gold. Immediately after, it start to be found from the South to North of the Sierra called by the name of Espinhaco (Big Spine). It is more than 1.000 miles long and gold is found over the floor and in deposits around rivers and stream.

These is the time of Manuel de Borba Gato as Emeralds Hunter. His was son-in-law of the previous Fernao Dias Paes and founder of the Town of Sabarabucu.

1701 – The Ilha Grande (Big Island) in the coast of Rio de Janeiro was a Pirate Island since the XVI century. They used it as a base to attack the fleet coming from the De La Plata River. Is was the channel that Spanish used to transport gold and silver from the rich Potosi and others.

Big Island is a perfect combination of Oak Island + Santa Maria Island. It got its History of hidden treasures where small part of it is already found, was a pirates island and also was from where the Knight of the Order of Christ Joao Pimenta de Carvalho administrated the Captaincy of Sao Vicente. There are maps of treasures yet not found.

1704 – Some town in the Minas Gerais State is founded, it will be occupied by members of the Coelho Family. It will be scenery to battle at the War of Emboabas. It have 5 church disposed in a pentagonal way. They say there it is called God Hope, similar to what is happen in Saint Mary Magdalene and Remy-le-Chateau with 5 castles. It have some secret temple and will became a place for hide some Inconfidents rebels at the end of the century. Is said even that the famous sculptor Antonio Francisco Lisboa, the Handicap, use to hide from persecution after the Inconfidencia Mineira be denounced.

1707 – Start the War of the Emboabas. The Paulistas thought they had the privilege of own the mines and tease the Emboabas (other Brazilian and Portuguese who comes in a wave of adventurers) putting high price for the goods. The war ends two years later with the defeat of Paulistas (Vicentinos). They are obligated to seek other places and will find gold at the today Goias State. 1720 they found the town of Pirenopolis.

1709 – The Emboabas War ends in Minas Gerais. A experienced soldier and administrator is named to take care of the many problems in consequence of the Gold Rush there. His name was Antonio Albuquerque Coelho de Carvalho. He pacifies the three Captaincies, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas do Ouro, which ones was together in the administration system at the time. During his government he organized public and judicial administrations. And he was the one who gave the authorizations for the first “mineiras” towns became Villages. And is in the architecture of the principal buildings one can at first site identifies the presence of Knights of the Order of Christ (Templar Knights) and Freemasons. There are others more than hundred Historic Cities that was town from those principals. All of them have some monumental construction with a historic value. Mostly church that was constructed in the Gothic style. Seen it is like to see Europe in the Medieval times. Although all was constructed in the 1700s.

Serro became one of, maybe the, most important city around when the Diamond were discovered around 1720. It was found at its town of Tejuco. Later on it became the City of Diamantina. Diamantina had a special status because of the presence of diamonds. Before the time diamonds where found only in India. And the town where administrated with the use of a exclusive code of laws. It took affect until around 1870 when the kind of exceptional status where abolished.

Serro is also one of the best preserved architecture from the time. It was possible in consequence of the way the development came to the state. The find of iron ore at the Itabira City deviated a plan of a railroad coming to town. So the region around stood isolated having access only by duty roads. Only at the end of the XX century was done pavement road. Still the city and its towns now can live exploring its touristic resources.

Congonhas do Campo is also a special place. At the 1700s was the place where the rich people had their rest houses to be away from the busy at the oldest capital Mariana or the next Ouro Preto. Mariana kept its function as religious capital of the State while Ouro Preto was its business administration.

At Congonhas, from 1857 to earlier 1800s was constructed the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Matosinhos. Today it is one of the icons of the State of Minas Gerais. It is said that it came to be by a promise in thanks for a cure. The promise was made by the Portuguese Feliciano Mendes. Many of the richest people in the land contributed for it. And is also said that one of the biggest contributor, with generous amount, were Manoel Rodrigues Coelho. He also left an immense offspring in the State, which today is around the globe. Only recently a researcher took notice that many of the sculptures made by the master Aleijadinho (Antonio Francisco Lisboa) have an interesting revelation where the Roman soldiers represented in his productions have the appearance of Portuguese people. Know is known that he used his fantastic imagination to mock the ones he considered enemies. And is there the suspicious feeling that he was secretly an Inconfident. (member of the Revolt of Inconfidencia Mineira). Many of the statues done by Master Lisboa have the sign M at hand, which can be interpreted as him been from the Order of Knight Templar.

At the time of governor Antonio de Albuquerque Coelho de Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro was attacked but the pirates didn’t got the best of it.

1712 – From there on many people with the surname Coelho went to Minas Gerais. Not only them but all noble from higher or lower nobility was picked by the mosquito of riches. Many towns in Portugal assume the appearance of desert because most young evaded to Brazil. Even in Brazil the around about of sugarcane mills where once were flocked with people also were abandoned in favor of that gold rush. So as it extended for almost the whole XVIII century today all Brazilian population have roots in Minas Gerais. From that time we can see the surnames, Coelho de Oliveira, Rodrigues Coelho, Coelho Rodrigues, Coelho da Silva, Coelho Teixeira and many others surging in the documents. They came from the whole Portugal.

In the midst of the migrant wave at the beginning of Minas Gerais colonization hundreds of Brazilians from the families Barbalho and Pimenta de Carvalho was present and until today they are part of the surnames and lineages from the pioneers.

1717 – The miracle of Our Lady of Conception Aparecida took place. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_Lady_of_Aparecida ). These miracle remembers one done by Jesus almost 17 centuries before. It created a devotion lakely those dedicated to Guadalupe, Fatima, Lourdes and Medjugorje.

1739 – Is born in Guaratingueta, Sao Paulo, Friar Galvao. He will be the first canonized Brazilian saint. Although it was happen only in 1998. He was able to perform many miracles during his life and later. One of the miracles attributed to him was the capability of teletransportation. 1750 – The Gold Rush give signs of exhaustion and the administrator launch new expeditions to find more gold. It will became more difficult to find along the rest of the century but the colonization is guaranteed with basis on farming.

1755 – The Great Earthquake of Lisbon is happen. The demand for gold to pay for the reconstruction is beyond the capacity of the miners. The taxation stand still although the production declines. It soon create animosity between the Portuguese Crown and the people.

1777 – The king of Portugal D. Jose I dies. His place is taken by his wife D. Maria I. She and her sect is too conservative to handle the job. She even don’t give permission to her supposed successor be vaccinated against smallpox and he dies too. The second in the line, prince John, is called but had never been prepared.

1792 – D. John VI assume the regency in place of his mother. He is hard to decide and is low in ambitions.

1807 – Before Napoleon’s invasion of Portugal Prince John take the Portuguese fleet to transfer his Courts to Brazil. He acted as France’s friend until the very final moment. Napoleon wrote in his memoir that John VI were the only one who deceived him.

1808 – The Portuguese Navy is escorted by the English Fleet. One Captain write in his log the admiration for such poor condition of the Portuguese Navy. He was amazed how a so poor fleet once were able to conquest the world three centuries before.

1808 – Brazil is made United Reign to Portugal and Algarves. Rio de Janeiro became the capital of the Empire.

1818 – At the end of the Napoleonic Wars Brazil represents the Empire at the Treaty of Vesailles.

1819 – D. John VI is obligated to go back to Portugal leaving behind his older son Pedro and say to him: “Before any adventurer do it, do it yourself.” John was referring to the Independence.

1780 – Around these year gold is found at the actual City of Dom Joaquim. One miner there is Manuel Nunes Coelho. Later on he gave the name of Folheta to his farm. The reason for it was because the gold founder there had an exclusive appearance. The name Folheta does not specifies exactly but it can be little leaf, little page of paper or little foil. These gold maybe let a significant impression to the family. Later on the son of Manuel, Euzebio, moved to the new town of Saint Michael and Souls. (Sao Miguel e Almas).

At these second place they also found gold and became the most influent family there. As the family multiplies so their interest for sacred issues and inumerous members went to the cleargy. Around 1919 one descendant of Manuel, named after him, became the first bishop of the City of Luz. His cousin Maria, also known as Sister Helena, is in process of be canonized. One of their distant cousin, Lafayette Coelho da Costa, who was born at the Serro City, also is in the line to be canonized. Almost all familiar nucleus had one priest. Some had more than one. Even 4 sisters from the same father and mother.

The bishop Manoel Nunes Coelho and his cousin sister Helena was direct descendants of Luiz Barbalho Bezerra, Goncalo Pimenta de Carvalho and obviously was also offspring of the Coelho Family.

1789 – Because of the abusive behavior of Portuguese government is planned in Minas Gerais State a revolt that became known as Inconfidencia Mineira. The prominent revolutionaries have ties with the Freemasons. Even they password, used to identify who was about to went the meetings behind doors. It was three knocks on the door and the acronym UAI. It have the same sound as the word why. So the old researchers thought it was by English influence that the “mineiro” stands using that word previous to any question or exclamation at any dialogue.

But under a commission for research by the ex-president Juscelino, it was founded that UAI means, Uniao, Amor e Independencia (Union, Love and Independence). Also the flag from Minas Gerais was elaborated at the time, using a white square and a red triangle inside.

One of the “Incomfidentes” was Jose Joaquim da Maia e Barbalho, who was Freemason, and was the contact with the Americans, been even intermediary in talks with Thomas Jefferson, in 1786, when Jefferson was ambassador in France. He attended by the nickname of Vendek and was recorded by the ex-president himself. Jose Joaquim was a Mason in both sense because he was son of a big contractor at the construction industry.

The plot was basely lead by intellectuals so they hadn’t much of experience and no back plan. The better prepared was Joaquim Jose da Silva Xavier, also known as Tiradentes (Toot taker). But like Benjamin Franklin he talked too much. He himself could be cause to the revolution went wrong. But Portuguese administrators had the help of a betrayer, Joaquim Silverio dos Reis. These one was more in debt with the crown and exchanged his account for the pardon of the debt.

These revolution stood practically unknown for some decades after. When the Declaration of Republic came in 1889 Tiradentes had his name elevated as Martyr of the Independence. He was the only to pay with his life. He also were dismembered and had his parts exposed in Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais. The others got degraded to Africa. Many denied participation and got free. Portuguese government pardoned the debts because knew the execution of it would cause more trouble for its dominance.

1813 – The marriage of Felicio Pinto Coelho de Mendonca and Domitila de Castro Canto is celebrated. She will be the Marquise of Santos and lover of the Emperor Pedro I. Felicio is a member of an extended family from Portugal and established in Brazil. He is cousin of Jose Feliciano Pinto Coelho da Cunha, the Baron of Cocais.

1819 – At Sierra of Caraca (Karassa as it sounds because English language don’t have the letter c with a coma under it. The meaning of the name is Enormous Face, although in indigenous tongue it can mean also Canyon. The problem with these interpretation is that, there are a stream vale but not a canyon.) is founded a Sanctuary and not long after is open the Caraca College and Catholic Seminary.

What it appear to be is that, the place was revered by the native Brazilians. And as many times was happen before the Catholic Church saw the opportunity to place a Sanctuary to restrain any other cult. As in the case of the Headless-Mule it is possible that the Church was aware of the contacts with extraterrestrial. 1822 – Brazil became independent and the participation of Freemasons on the movement is well known. 1824 – Is born Isabel Maria de Alcantara Brasileira. She is daughter of Pedro I and his lover dona Domitilia. The most interesting fact about her is that, she died in 1898 and her body was supposed to be buried in Brazil. Some sent a coffin to there but the body was never found in the country. Recently was discovered she still buried in Bavaria. What was smuggled instead is something to think of. Even at the time had some controversy but was never clarified.

1842 – Brazil is in political convulsion. Pedro I had went back to Portugal to guarantee his crown there and even already was dead. His son Pedro, who will become II, was a minor and nobody was satisfied with the Provisional Governments. In Minas Gerais is a Liberal Revolution lead by Teofilo Otonni. His movement is defeated but wasn’t considered guilt because didn’t had the goal to separate the Province from the rest of the Country. But he was not satisfied with the Brazilian Liberal Party. It wasn’t enough liberal as him.

Teofilo Otonni was a great admirer of the American Revolution, specially of its Constitution. The next decades he launch a plan called Philadelphia. Since the colonial times Portugal forbade the construction of roads linking the Provinces, specially Minas Gerais because it could be used in the evasion of gold and precious minerals. Serro City where Otonni was born had a long way to go to have contact with the sea. The better way was through the Royal Road that was more than a thousand miles long. So he start to look the best way. And it was possible in his point of view through the Vales of the Rivers Jequitinhonha and Mucuri.

He start founding the City of Philadelphia which later was renamed after him by his followers. The project was to attract people from all over the world, to make a pie of cultures and religions, promote the emancipation of slavery and so on. He was too advanced for his time in Brazil. The people around today descend from many nationality and is from diverse religious background.

His project didn’t work for long in part because he died from the many fevers that he contracted. And the people of Serro chose the Rio Doce Vale to be the best way to go to the sea. These river goes to the Atlantic not so far away from Vitoria, capital of neighbor Espirito Santo State. But the life of Teofilo Otonni is a testimonial to the loyalty to the ideals in the American Constitution.

1848 – The Gold Rush begun in California. About 1.500 people from Brazil migrate to share their experiences and mine gold.

1865 – It is the end of Civil War in United States. The same year start the War of Paraguay between the Triple Alliance, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina against the country governed by the dictator Solano Lopez. 1869 – Jose Feliciano Pinto Coelho da Cunha, the Baron of Cocais, died unexpectedly. He had been the head of a mine company rich in gold. He lived in Saint John of the Big Hill. (The real Hills Billy). During the years 1840 and 1850 the mine produced a half ton of gold yearly. The share owners were mostly his relatives and contemporaneous. The money were deposited in an English Bank. Nobody else had access to the account.

It came to pass until someone said that the English government was calling for the heirs to take back what was owned by their ancestors around 100 years before. Everybody got excited and processed documents to prove be Jose’s offspring. Was thousands from a regular family and another outside matrimony. After so many work done the story say that some offspring didn’t agreed on the terms between themselves and everybody lost the prize. Nobody knows what is the truth and what is not. 1876 – At the City of Serro is born the professor Nelson Coelho de Senna. He will be one of the most important History Academics in Brazil. In 1939 he published one more brochure than a book called, Algumas Notas Genealogicas (Some Genealogical Notes) in which he presents a glimpse of the importance of the Coelho Family in History. Also describes part of his own genealogy.

1880 – Around these time a boy born in Minas Gerais, actual city of Santos Dumont, who was son of a French immigrant, contradict his partners on a traditional children play affirming that man can fly. He don’t accept he was wrong as his playmates believed ending the play.

1888 – The emancipation of slavery became fact in Brazil. The Aurea Law as it is called were signed by Princess Isabel who was in place of her father, D. Pedro II.

1889 – The Proclamation of Republic in Brazil is an event that shows the insatisfaction of the Brazilian elites with the emancipation of slaves. It was the last country from the Occident that stood permiting the barbarism. Great part of Brazilian population was in favor of the emancipation but because it was done against the will of special interests the elites also approved and the wave couldn’t be controlled by the monarchist.

Probably it is the last time that Freemason participated actively in the right side although by the wrong reason in Brazil. The Brazilian flag is a example of the work behing courtain of Freemason. Although since then the Brazilian elites became more inclined to greedy and power not interested on the more meaningful constructionism.

In these time the Brazilian admiration for the brother of the North still high. The name adopted by then was United States of Brazil. It is changed only in 1967 becoming Federative Republic of Brazil.

1902 – Birth of Juscelino Kubistichek. He was born in Diamantina, Minas Gerais, Brazil, which were the Crown Jewel of Colonial and Imperial Brazil for its production of gold and Diamond. His grandmother was dona Maria Joaquina Coelho. He also had some ancestry from gipsies. It was always controversial in his life because of the prejudice. For his origins though he is clearly linked to Egypt.

1906 – Santos Dumont succeed on to fly a heavier-than-air aircraft winning a prize for do a turn go and back around the Eiffel Tower in Paris. He is accepted as the father of aviation for most countries in the world.

1945 – The WWII ends and nobody contest the leadership of United States.

1960 – Juscelino Kubitschek inaugurates the new capital of Brazil, Brasilia. Its design were done by his old friend Oscar Niemeyer. It have a core named Pilot Plan. The new capital got the format of an airplane. Everything is done to be far advanced for the time.

Is believed that Dom Bosco made a prophecy which states that one great civilization would come out after the escavation of gold. He established that it would surge between the 15 and 20 parallel. In Brazil it is interpreted as the premonition of the Construction of Brasilia.

1961 – The hurts starts. United States through CIA and the conservative people in South America start plots against the democratic governments elected there. Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and others are taken by dictatorships. Since then have no confidence in American leadership. Even with all the denial nobody in Brazil believes he also were not assassinated.

It consolidates the idea that United States is no more a friend to trust. The persecution of moderated leftists and the approaching to right wing politics send a message that Latin America will never be the ideal partner for United States. From the center to the left the latinos doesn’t like Americans and all talks is expected to be hardenned for the past errors of the American right wing politicians.

1986 – Before become a star on his career as book writer, Paulo Coelho make the pilgrimage of more than 500 miles walking on the Road of Santiago de Compostela. When Bill Clinton was president of United States he reveal that he like the books of Coelho and arranged to meet him.

1987 – Brasilia is granted by UNESCO the title of Worldly Cultural Patrimony, the only of its kind of contemporaneous architecture. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_Niemeyer ). Already in 1955 the architect Oscar Niemeyer authored the Museum of Modern Art of Caracas, which is an inverted pyramid. In his book of 1939, professor De Senna alleged to be descendant of Manuel Rodrigues Coelho, the one who was mad rich at the time of the Gold Rush. What wouldn’t be remembered in his family with any difficult. It because the great grandfather of professor Nelson was Joao Coelho de Magalhaes who should be grandson of Manuel Rodrigues Coelho. Joao died at the same day he was born 94 years before in 1879. It mean 3 years after the professor was born. So his mother, who was granddaughter of Joao would had talk to her grandpa about his daddy and his granddaddy. The open words here come in consequence that professor Coelho De Senna said so but never gave a document proving it.

Manuel Rodrigues Coelho probably was brother or uncle of Bento Rodrigues Coelho. These one is recorded by the Viscount of Sanches De Baena for been a father of someone who was born in Mariana City, Minas Gerais. Bento was descendant of dona Maria Coelho and also of Antonio Queiroz De Mascarenhas, well known for his quality and value at the Reign of Portugal, who also was offspring of D. Afonso Henriques, the 1st king of Portugal.

Interesting here is to point out that the Dynasty of Braganca begun with dona Beatriz Pereira Alvim, who was daughter of D. Branca Esteves Coelho. The governor Cesario Alvim also was descendant from Fernao Coelho, the first lord of Felgueiras and Vieira, and his wife Catharina De Freitas.

2003 – Theodoro de Hungria Machado, brother of Sylvia Amelia, marriages the princess of Brazil, D. Maria Gabriela de Orleans e Braganca, in Rio de Janeiro.

2013 – The plots against left wing politicians in Latino America restarts. The town was probably named after Bento Rodrigues Coelho the supposed relative of Manuel Rodrigues Coelho. The Doce River now poluted by the contamination of mineral debris could be called of Coelho Stream such are the big number of branches of the family living around its basin.

The families Barbalho Bezerra, Pimenta de Carvalho and Coelho are here representing more than themselves. They are representing a Saga from the Peninsula Iberian people which could not be represented in only one book because of what the much they done had to be wrote in thousands of volumes for not diminish they good work. Those three families got the others in its ancestry and they are in the ancestry of all others.
